Exciting day today ... I’m starting to create the new NCLG website! I’ve got all the old content and will be reformatting and reposting a lot of it in the next couple of weeks
Please note that the committee have come to the decision that 2020 is a write off. From the comments from HCA we can't see the community centre being in a position to comply with the regulations for our number of members before 2021.![]()
We have abandoned all hope of any meetings taking place before 2021. The tutors and suppliers have been contacted and have been asked if they could re-arrange dates for 2021. They all seem to be quite relieved as giving a talk in a face mask is not the best thing to look forward to.![]()
So, please be advised that there will be no meetings, or courses for NCLG this year and Pillowtalk will only resume in March 2021.![]()
We are hoping to resume meetings in 2021, with luck it may be January, and hold the AGM in May.![]()
Helen will update everyone in a round robin message for those with email and paper notification for those who don't.![]()
New dates and details of courses, speakers and suppliers will be posted as soon as things are sorted.
This content isn't available at the moment
When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people or changed who can see it, or it's been deleted.
The next time I’m able to offer a Belgian laces course for the group one of the options will be to work this butterfly from Brugge lace flowers and leaves. I took the pins out this morning. The pattern is by Lieve Pollet and is the first pattern released as part 2 of A P-Lace Together, a new pattern is released ever week. In part 1 most of the patterns were Torchon.
I have discovered Armenian needle lace it's lovely
